TOP 2024 Action With Africa Projects Released!
On Friday, 14 June, the TOP 12 Announcement marked the first milestone of the Action With Africa Challenge 2024! Additionally, the TOP 3 early-stage projects were released. The announcement took place live at Enactus Germany’s National Competition in Cologne, Germany.
During the session, our host Sarah Hohenner also welcomed partners on stage from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation & Development, BASF and Wilo-Foundation. Tobias Darda, Action With Africa Project Manager, was pleased to announce another award-winning opportunity on behalf of Wilo SE. As in previous years, representatives from Wilo SE will select their favourite Action With Africa projects related to Water-Sanitation-Hygiene (“WASH”) and give out additional awards at the Action With Africa Awards Ceremony.
While you will find all shortlisted teams in this blog article, you can of course still watch a recording of our livestream on YouTube!

Next Steps
All approved project teams will still receive written feedback from the jury. The feedback sheets will be shared by the Action With Africa Team via email by end of June 2024.
Between July and September 2024, the shortlisted Action With Africa project teams still need to pass an audit verifying their project data and submit their 2nd Progress Report by 31 October 2024. Once these steps are completed, the TOP 3 early-stage projects are entitled to receive EUR 500 in project funding.
EUR 1,000 in project funding go to places 7-12 and EUR 2,000 to places 3-4. The team winning the Action With Africa Challenge will be awarded EUR 10,000, followed by EUR 7,500 for place 2 and EUR 5,000 in project funding for place 3.
The TOP 6 project teams are invited to attend the Action With Africa Challenge Final on Tuesday, 1 October at Enactus World Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan. During this event an international jury will decide about the TOP 6 ranking, which will be announced only two days later at the Action With Africa Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 3 October 2024.
